ok thats what i was doing but on door panels to me its kinda hard because i feel like the curves of the panel are an optical illusion lol i have done quite a few and tried a couple techniques. i am doing what your saying now but sometimes having to change it because i place the dowel rods in a different place on acc then the measurements dont add up lol -
if it were me op.Im also bout to start looking into creating/starting my own business, my town only see's memphis, arc audio dei pioneer, etc. you know the basics that everybody knows about, but i have took 5 out of 7 business classes we have around here and i have learned alot but i tell you theres way more brands and way better for the money than memphis jl blah blah blah, you can make a profit on selling brands like sundown, crescendo,fi,etc but it will mostly come from installs as said before. You come up with a business plan and come up with an expense report, as in what you will need and what you have already bought if anything. Also like already stated check your surroundings out, in houston business is popping because its a big dope city, big rims, nice whips, hood rich if you will. Where im from we have a little bit of that so my company i feel will stay afloat, but if its covered in old people and junky ass cars then i doubt it will survive. just google it and check around, attend car shows also if you host a couple car shows after going to a couple of car shows. If you find out what the people want then thats all you have to do. Also if you are a hustler then you will deff have a better chance, by hustler i mean you can sell rubbers to a monk or ice to a penguin and bust your ass while doing it. i pride myself on it a little lol. but good luck with your biz

i was wondering how everybody gets their pods or door panel pods, pillars, etc the exact same on both sides of the car especially when they have an angle to them? somebody asked me and i told them the way i done it and to me it was good until i said it out loud so now i dont know if that will be the quickest/smartest way to do it. lol might sound stupid but i wanna hear what/how everybody else does it. I hope i get some good replys.

i think with 2 k you can do it you just have to be a smart shopper and pick up some used things as well as find the cheapest things out there. Look in the for sale threads on some good 1/0 or 2/0 wire, also look at the amps i think theres a couple 3500's in there now for cheap, but id worry about electrical, then wood then equipment to put in there but you need to know what size speakers and whatnot. 2 bands and it can be done.

we;come man i think those are the parts needed ive never heard them called garnishes tho but for 35 dollars you cant beat that. if their wrong send them back but im pretty sure thats it.

-
uhhhhhhh how do you expect us to know how big your hatch is????????????? smmfh lol dudes got to be a There are alot of people on here that know what there doing and can hook u up if you give the dimensions you want your box. lol

RCA Cable Recommendations
87chevyboi replied to KScarboy's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
op i bout 1000 ft of rg59 coaxial cable so i could make my own length and not have to worry about all that bull shit excess ya know. And to be honest i love it. Its fairly cheap considering i bought 1000 ft of it for 42.50 but i dont think ill find another deal like that but its not bad priced, very flexible, and you could sell it to others to get your money back on it. Alot of people say itd be ridiculous to run a 4 channel on it but what i do is use a y with 2 males and 1 female and hook it in to the amp. 1 for the lefts ones and 1 for the right ones.- 17 replies

Loudest 8 inch midrange i can get too keep up with 2x15 fi btl
87chevyboi replied to 04navi's topic in Mid's and highs
like real96ss said 2 diff people may have totally diff opinions bro. best bet is to find out how much you wanna spend, if your on a money crunch go for seleniums, eminence alpha or eminator series, or if you wanna spend some money and be loud id go with beymas. If you dont want pro audio then id try some sa8's in your doors if you can fiberglass any good or some rockford 8s maybe even some kicker 8s. then you have to factor in how big the magnet is and the depth rather than the smaller pro audio's. All depends on what you want to do and how much fabricating you want to do -
okay if i go ahead and build a setup for the doors, if i dont have the speakers i just use the cutout diameter to make my holes for the speakers and the overal for where they can sit on the wood right? ive never build some without the speakers here so sorry for the dumb question
-
yumadbro them shits are pretty damn loud in those vids homie. sound pretty clear too, i like them alot.
-
are the eminence alphas any good for the money?
-
i got a set of components already but im thinkin the 8s and the 6's will keep up good enough. i dont know which pa sjpeakers i am going to run ive heard alot about beymas also
-
ya i have heard about eminence speakers but i dont know of anybody that has them if anybody has them then let me know about the quality of them
-
im thinking of running seleniums in the doors and maybe in the a pillars dayton 4's or something like that. I got selenium supertweeters now but i am wanting more mids and midbass
-
i fiberglassed them out because i was gonna add some more speakers in there and a tv in the door, but then i changed my mind, im thinking about doing an 8 inch selenium, then 2 6's or a 6 1/2 and a 6 inch, i want it to be loud as hell but sound pretty good while doing it. i dont want it to be an sq build but i just want it to sound good while doing it. if i do the 3 speakers in each door, i am thinking about running an onyx 1000.4 on them.

ok i got 2 sets of alpine type s components i know they are not the best but they are pretty good. they were going to go in my truck but i have been looking around and im thinking i should get some selenium or dayton audio pro audios to go in the doors. or should i keep the alpines and add to them with seleniums in the doors? i have a selenium super tweeter in my kick panels, and a 6 1/2 in my door both fiberglassed in but i want to add more mids and highs i got a set of 6.5s in my center console too if you check my build you'll see what i got going on. Just wanting a little more info on some pro audio equipment and what its good for and the cons about it
