  3. More of a question than a problem, but what is the average turnaround from the time someone pays for their Gold Membership to the time it shows here on the site? I had one before but it didn't renew because some info on my PayPal changed. Thanks.
  4. I'll go snap a few and post em in a bit. It's pretty bad though. I called yesterday spoke to one person about it, then he handed the phone to Chris who told me that swelling usually means improper maintenance so void warranty. Ugh.
  5. Not that I don't believe you, but I went with a D series under the hood for 2 reasons: 1) on the XSPower website when I used the OEM replacement calculator the D6500 comes up for my '03 Expedition. 2) when I was shopping for my battery I needed up working with Nate on the phone, he asked me what vehicle and application I would need a battery for, and after I told him, the D6500 is what he suggested. I don't feel I've been negligent in any way, and I just have a hard time wrapping my head around why with that being the case, XSPower won't honor the warranty.
  6. I bought mine directly from Nate because the local shop was trying to sell me some other brand instead of ordering what I wanted.
  7. I called XS Power today because the D6500 I have under the hood(about a year old) is really swollen. Doesn't seem to be affecting performance, but I'm concerned from a safety standpoint. I was told that swelling isn't covered under warranty because that usually means there's a ton of resistance inside the battery and it wasn't maintained properly. What I really want to know is, what did I do wrong in maintaining the battery? It's the only battery in my setup, it has been fed by a DC 270xp the whole time... I have about 2200 wrms in my system, and no other aftermarket electrical. I drive the truck every day, I charge high 14's cold and mid 14's when warm, hardly ever wang on it except for an occasional demo, and I never run any electrical with the engine off. Thinking about it, I would be fine with an auto zone battery but, i took faith in the product and Nate was super helpful during the shopping process.
  8. damn i can't believe i didn't see your comment. Thanks a lot. I don't mean to ignore people it's just that this is a busy place i appreciate all the good comments and say GFY to all the bad ones I've been away from the forum for a bit and come back to see the man himself quoted one of my posts. Thanks brotha.
  9. they are not push/pull. Not really needed. The trunk has a vent that can let hot air out. Plus, i think i pretty much explained in the video that it's highly doubtful this car will see the road, EVER. Even if i did, it would be fine. I figured! I don't know much about fan systems just trying to learn more about them! Thanks for the response! Did you check the video? If not, you should it gives an idea of how much air those things are moving. He did do a push/pull in his Tahoe, another build I recommend you check out if you haven't.
  10. After he destroys this car his sons Yukon (or was it a Tahoe) will make a nice home for this system. Fuck yeah Steve! Love the custom heat shrink.
  11. People that bump their own thread the same day annoy me. Edit: apparently I can't tell time. My bad.
  12. I blame Mechman because I was trying to power a small town with my minivan electrical before I had the kinks worked out, instead of just shutting the hell up and driving customers from point a to point b like a normal taxi.
