Yeah I am running the BTL @ 1ohm

Well I bought a 18" btl a couple of months ago and powered it by my audiobahn a2300hct. I t actually powered it pretty good but only plan on using amp til i could buy a better one. Well last friday I burn it up. was fine @ 1ohm stereo but @ 1 ohm mono was makeing it get real hot. Well anyways . I have got 2 Pioneer TS-W 3002spl 12" subs(10/10) that have been underpowered with an alpine mrd-m605(10/10). also have 3 orignal Jl W6 that were powered by the alpine amp two. 2x12" pioneers and box-250 + shipping alpine mrd-m605- 175 +shipping JL W6- 175 + shipping Or will trade for amp to power my BTL let me know what you got PIONEER 12'S 300W A PIECE

I have 2 Ts-w3002spl they really impressed me for being alittle over $100 apiece and i would definetly do it again

I grew up in Cali And went to McClatchy H.S. but got into alot of trouble and was sent all over and finally I stole my last car and spent my last night in jail. OK So I recently bought a 18" BTL And put in the trunk of my 96 Impala SS. It hits real hard so hard that to pushes air out threw the crack by back window. I adjusted the trunk lid as low as I want to go with out f(&^'n up the body lines. Still does it so I need a good way to fix this. So any ideas any of you got or you have had this problem and know how to fix let me know.

Just wondering how your back window take the abuse?

Yes 100sqft. just in the trunk 3layers on the sides and back, 2 layers trunk hood and rear deck, 1 layer floor. It actually works really well, but I didn't degrease trunk hood the first time so had to do it again. Plan on useing in on the int.

I definetly like that idea.I am really considering It. If I did that I could use the 6x9 hole in the rear deck for the ports.The only problem that might run into is getting the subs in once box is done. I might have to have the rear window removed to put subs in but we'll see when it gets here.

I ordered a Fully loaded BTL on the 15th and it shipped out fri 22nd and is scheduled for delivery this Wed 27th.

OK I have a 96 Impala ss And a 18" FI BTL on the way should be here this wednesday. I plan on building a box just so I can hook it up. And see if 1-18" is enough for me I have Just over 16cuft for box after amps and batt's. I will probably get another BTL after awhile cause it never seems loud enough. What I am wondering is if you had this trunk to work with wat would you do. I am going for the highest spl level.

Yeah that stuff rocks i use it on my 96' Impala SS and then use Meguiars High Class wax. And in the sun my paint looks so much deeper

Does anyone know how to break an BTL or do i even need to. If so what should I do to break it in? I only ask because my focal sub needed to be broke in to loose up spiders

Personaly I think you need to run another +@- 1/0 and another fuse holder. Because that cadi is big and the runs are long Yeah it is 1/0 wire. I have a 96 impala ss and It is 22' from battery upfront to battery out back and even with one run of 70% cooper 1/0 wire.but still wasn't Getting enough power out back. And maybe if you add a ground from battery front to back battery it might help. But I would run another run of power
