  1. That's awesome man. I actually think you took him by surprise a little at the first bass drop. Lol.
  2. Great guy to buy from. If he says he is gonna ship something to ya tomorrow. He IS gonna ship it to ya tomorrow. Very trustworthy person. I wouldn't think twice about buying something from him. Great person to do business with and great communication. Thank You Ken. Your an outstanding individual.
  3. Great seller. Very understanding and a great guy to do business with. Everything was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better seller.
  4. OMG That is some funny ass shit there. I'll have to remember that 1. Lol
  5. Is it cast or a stamped basket? A pic would probably help. Tell the person you got it off of that there is a little sticky in the for sale section bout how to ship a sub. Sorry your speaker is messed up bro.
  6. Hi y'all. My name is Dave. Found this site just browsing the web . I've been into and installing car systems for just over 20 years now. Ya I'm a basshead at heart. I kinda got out of having huge systems for the past 10 years but had a system in every vehicle I'v e ever owned but the kid I bought my T 1500 off of was just getting into stereo stuff and was talking to me allot bout stereos and asked if I would install hits. Kinda peeked my interest in having a loud stereo again. Idk if I should thank him for that or hate him for it. Lol. I browsed around on the forum for awhile before I signed up. I have a good feeling that the people on this forum are a great bunch of guys and I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all.
  7. I'm from Warren PA. I might have to go to the show on Sunday. Where is it being held at ?
  8. Happy Birthday bro. Thank You for the great site and all the work you put into it :-) Its very much appreciated.
  9. I wouldn't pay 700 for a 13w 7 either but I have two of them. I paid 150 each for mine used. What can I say. I'm a cheap bastard and hunt for deals.
  10. No I haven't yet. I'll get some up sometime here shortly.
  11. Nothing big at all. Just a couple 13w7 and a T 2500 in an extended cab truck . Played around with different boxes and box placement for bout a month and found what box and where it hit the hardest. Around the 40 hz range is where I have the problem of the dash shaking bad. I'll have to try the rubber mount idea. Thanks guys. :-)
  12. no problem, what do you plan on doing then? Probably tell everyone that wants to listen to something to have it on an Ipod or something of the sort. Or build a hydraulic suspension system for the whole CD player. I think I'll choose the first option tho.
  13. It's an older technology, slowly being outdated as we speak which is why you probably have never heard of it. here is a link if you want to learn more on the CDhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD Lol.
  14. Already have 1. Its what I use almost all the time but sometimes other people want to listen to a certain CD of theirs and if it has some good lows in it its all over. Just wondered if anybody had some good ideas on how to isolate the vibration to the deck.
  15. Nobody better to ask than some major bass heads. How do you all keep your CD players from skipping? Vehicle is a 97 F 150 and deck is an Alpine cda 117. Thanks for any info guys. Great website Steve :-)
