Comparing one of the new 6 phase hairpin SMD 370's to a Leece Neville, is like comparing a Ferrari to a 57 Chevy. LN units use 60 year old technology, and have virtually no airflow to cool the stator or rectifier, which is why they fail all the time when pushed past 300 amps or so. Also, even though they are HUGE (too big to fit on most passenger vehicles) they are not capable of anywhere near the idle output of the SMD 370. Leece Nevilles are pretty much boat anchors. You can't touch 6 phase hairpin stator technology in terms of performance, efficiency, or durability. That's funny, you won't see any small cases on any vehicles that require real amperage output....

I sent a message on facebook asking this question but I'm not sure if you guys check those much. So I will ask again here. I'm planning on running 2 of the 1ohm DVC ZVX-12's in a ported box on a 2500.1. But while I'm trying to get the box figured out I needed to know how much port area 2 of these will need at 1250w to each sub.

You are better off building a new PC. You are about six years behind the times man. The ati radeon express 200 is the graphics chipset used on the motherboard. -

Without knowing the actual model of motherboard it's hard to say what you can do. But being an older gateway I will bet it's safe to say you don't have many options, at least none that would be worth spending your money on. -

What he said ^^. And also I don't know if you have any experience buying a house, but don't expect to be able to purchase a home for a least a year and a half to two years after you start your job. And that's if you have great credit. Not trying to be a buzz kill but that's just how the financial system is right now. -

It's only an hour away. I did that commute for 7 years. I'm not really seeing what would be holding you back if you will be making double what you are now.... -
I would get some shrink tubing for the ends, and you will need a torch and solder or if you prefer to crimp a large crimper. Don't forget zip ties so you can tie up the wires nicely, and you will need a way to clean off the metal you will use for a chassis ground.
