  1. a living legend, iv always loved subies, but since i started watching some of his stuff..... jizz
  2. 4 4x4's for support i dont think you really need a double baffle anymore lol
  3. Yeah i know a few people that have some nice import cars, and they put them in the self storage buildings for the winter, so it must depend on what the specific policies are at each one
  4. put it in one of those self storage things while your gone? give a friend with a garage a few bucks? till you can figure out what to do
  5. yeah that seems to be a little to small, how wide is your port? i've always heard that you should have at minimum your port width away from your hatch
  6. It looks like your fine with the subs to the roof, but it looks like your port/box is too close to the hatch. how much room is there from the hatch to the port? Edit: when the hatch is closed.
  7. I think the reason they say to keep them away form the roof is so when you port back (like your case) there is plenty or room for the sound waves to travel around to make it up front. so to make sure your not choking your output i think (i could be wrong, just kinda thinkin out loud lol)
  8. its a great idea in theory, but i don't think there's enough demand to make it feasible for a company to pursue (just my opinion)
  9. x2 on the 10's its not even close to a fair comparison
  10. i like things that make loud noises haha seriously, thats alot of fireworks
  11. Its very "unique" to work with, (if you havent worked with it before) like you'll mix it up and be spreading it out, then almost instantly it will just hit this stage where becomes unworkable. you'll have maybe 5 minutes at most. like sodfamily said, only mix small portions at a time so your not left with a bucket of hardened bondo lol
  12. I cant compare it to anything else first hand, but I've used bondo on several occasions with no ill-effects (door-pods, body work, pillers, sub boxes)
  13. have everything prepared before you mix in the hardener, you will only have a few minutes to work with it before it becomes un-workable. also there is a "green stage" when its curing in which it is easiest to sand (where it is hardened enough to sand, but hasnt fully hardened. this will save you alot of sanding later on lol)
  14. this is a very basic way to get really approximate numbers, but you also have to factor in efficiency. no amp will be close to 100% efficient. so to take a guess with the amp being 70% efficient, it will only be putting out round 2000 watts rms x2 on the md3
  15. every pool guest go through an intense underwater survival program before they are allowed to enter the pool.
