im gueesing its connected to the rest of your electrical system. alts n such so fluctuating voltage on start up seems normal.

that does not look like a agm batt so if you add a xs power you are already mixing batt types. so yes change that out. whatever fits. preferably the biggest one that will fit.

what are the diff? i know the xp isnt meant for a underhood batt but when should one be used over the other when they are going in the trunk or whatever?

not sure if the OP's reason is the same but my reason for using the ibar is that i have side posts and it right up against my coolant overflow tank. cleaner and easier install of extra cables when using a ibar system.

happened to mine too. same one also. inboard on the pos side. def need to contact them first. no need to put them on blast if they are helpful. theyve been great to me.
