umm you sure about that? every cop that has pulled me over for a "noise violation" whether i got a ticket or warning has specifically told me the law IS 25 feet. everyone i know of here that has got a ticket for noise violation has told me the same thing.

lol, what a joke. ive heard that expedition and it's no joke, 151-152 on music sealed up.. i guess it does get excessive, but not near enough to justify impounding a vehicle. 25 feet law is such bull sh*t, a stock stereo on volume 15 can be heard at that distance. i can hear a fart from 25 feet! complete BS. my law: 1st offense: $100 2nd : $200 3rd: $500 4th: $1000 and $1000 each beyond 4. Ive had two, and i learned my lesson from just $75 each, 1 year apart. most people should learn by their 2nd or 3rd ticket by my law. o well

just to give you an idea of what your looking at with Kicker, my buddy Brandon from our club has six 15" L7's in a wall powered off 3 zx1500's.... not near the power that they should/can handle or need. But it does pretty well, he can bass race a 52 all day. This is not a burp machine, we have literally played his burban for 30 minutes, hour, more without giving it a break (@ 152db). You could easily run 3 2500's with 6 15" L7's. heres some pics of his 96 burban from a show in Orlando. (clean as fvck btw!) the 3 1500's are behind the mids/highs amps: BUT::: My buddy Allen had an Expedition with a wall of 6 15" CVRs running off ONE kx2500... 154db... hmm Brandon's burban never could keep up with it.. Its )almost) ALL IN THE INSTALL!!! Make sure you can build a dam good box.
