  1. there pretty cool guys im sure they would be willing to work with you to help you out. but if it was suppose to come yesterday its most likley outta there hands already and your gonna have to cover shipping all ways to send it back.
  2. LMFAO   i was thinking same thing, 25k into a trailblazer???
  3. i kinda agree with digital. not saying this is B.S., but im sick of these post. theres a million of them. everyone wants to do 4 18's and ask what they should do. if you search through some of the other post you will clearly find out every one is gonna recomend fi or dc for the subs and rockford or someother good company like sundown for the amps. no offense to this guy or anyone else but i read these post on the daily and there all the same. its gets irritating real quick. If this is going in a trailblazer your most likly gonna have to wall it. you might be able to fit a box something similar to steves if you loose the back seat but im not sure theres just not that much room.
  4. ya just got pricing for AA. def be going with those no matter which route. i have 2 questions. i might be able to do the 15's ported but i only have about 2-2.2 cubes a sub after displacment to work with.....thats probably to small for the aa's huh? and secondly if i go with the 15's would it be better to go with the havocs and slightly under power them (about 900rms a piece) or go with the arsenal's and overpower them?
  5. yes you can, it has to do with the amount of airspace in the box and something else i think. cant remember but they taught me about it at mobile dynamics
  6. its actually not that much of a diffrence in cone area. thats why idk what to do. if it was a big diff. i would just go the 15's. but with it being kinda close idk how much the sealed box is gonna cut down on output compared to the ported
  7. thats what im thinkin too but i dont know the real answer. ive always liked 18's just cuz there 18's and not many people have em. but if the 15's would be louder then ill do that.
  8. these would be the 15's http://www.audioque.com/aq/SDC2_5_Series.htm and the 18's would hopefully be AA havoc's and if not BL's
  9. what you guys think would be louder 8 15's Sealed or 4 18's ported. both running same power.
  10. not from that site...... a guy i did a build for bought some 1/0 from a different site but it was more expensive. i liked it though it worked pretty nice. im about to order 100ft of 4/0 from that site
  11. this actually works out to be cheaper than the ebay stuff. especially if you dont need 250ft of it. http://www.cableyard.com/catalog/index.php...439cc19e4999c75
  12. i feel like an idiot. my brain had a complete melt down i sat here for 5 mins trying to think of the word strappable but i could so i tryed to explain it and sounded like a moron lol. but i gotta see if i have the money availiable right now and ill let you know. thanks
  13. is it linkable to another one? like can you hook em together to use 1 bass knob for 2 amps?
  14. Very Nice. reminds me alot of the fiberglass box i did for my camaro.
  15. i would highly suggest not doing this. i never touch peoples cars that i dont know unless im working somewhere. you could end up with a lawsuit or some one tryin to sue you really fast. if there is something broken or messed up in their car, even if you didnt do it and it was already there, there gonna come after you and want you to fix it.
  16. OMG! i love 4dr chevy duallys
  17. Well i ended up with a zx6r. Its a 2006, i bout it from a used bike dealership with 1600 miles on it for $7000. its pretty much in show room condition only one miner scratch on where the seat meets the tank. Besides that its got and intake. yosh slip on. blue double bubble windscreen. frame sliders and swing arm spools. since the pics i got a rear seat cowl for it. had the rearsets powdercoated black. removed the rear pegs and the gay lookin bracket that was hanging down surrounding the exhaust. it was pretty much usless i though it was to mount the plate to but the plate doesnt fit the mounting holes are way to close together so it would require major modification to make it fit and i thought it looked tacky anyways. and i also threw my 30,000k hid's on
  18. if it was closer in wattage i would say ya the 18's. ( and i may be completly wrong cuz i know nothing about kicker amps) but i think the kickers you mentioned do atleast 2000 watts each righ? if so you have 2x the power or more and not a super huge diffrence in cone area ( i think 3 15's equal about the same as 2 18's). if the wattage on the amps is right i would go with the 15's. but my question is if you can fit 2 18's, why not 18" btls off the kickers???
  19. ive had the same problem with some of the pioneers that ive used. the bass seems to get really loud at low volumes and then kinda stops getting louder. i checked mine for cliping with and oscope and they werent but its just how the deck was set up. its seems louder lower cuz they highs arent as loud. as they get higher it seems like the bass is getting lower. have you ever tried playing your subs with out the highs? its seemes really loud cuz thats all you hear. its pretty much the same effect but opposite. turn the bass all the way down set the deck to listening level and then adjust it from there
  20. i have an 01 durango as well and unless you wall it or build a box thats 5 or 6 inches from the cieling its not gonna happen. your gonna need at least 20 cubes after wood/bracing and port displacment and thats going to be really hard to get without a wall. honestly man if i were you i would go with a lower model. you could even keep your amps then if you want (although im not a fan of boss amps, i have found them to be way over rated so keep this in mind.) i have a done a build with 4 15" ssds and a build with 2 15" bls (which did a 149 on music), and although they arent btls there still going to get pretty loud, way louder then the average car on the streets. this way you could do 2 boss amps if you already have them. and then i would either go with 2 18" BL's or 4 15" ssd's. then you could probably get away with just a big alt. a couple runs of 1/0 and a few batteries. no ones trying to say you cant do it or talk crap there just trying to help. no matter how many build pics you see you wont understand how hard it is to do 4 18" Btl's and all the equipment to properly run them until you actuall do it. start out small with somthing easier and work your way up once you can afford the rest of the equipment. cuz honestly your probably gonna need atleast 8 grand to do the btl's with everything you need. oh and if you take out there 3rd seat. there is a drop off in the floor where it folds down into. if you build a platform there for the box to sit on. you should have some room underneath it for batts/amps/ect....
