yeah, I agree panasonics do skip, everyone around here no lie this is all of our set ups (yes me included) panasonic HU, Kicker subs, Hifonics amps. I did start the panasonic and kicker though.....

I want to know if anyone has any tips/tricks to get HU's stop skipping when the bass hits. I just bought a panasonic HU a few months ago and the bass is hitting too hard and causing it so completely stop playing for a few seconds occasionaly, and skips quite frequently. I don't know if it's cheap burnt cd's I have or if it's the HU, and info would be great, thanks.

Well this is just IMO, but I think you would be much happier with the BTL then the Solo X, that's all. If someone doesn't agree with me, tough luck, that's my recommendation. That's just my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong I have 4 L7's, but I would be much happier with 4 btl's. Price was the deciding facvtor in my decision though.

Yeah, you gotta be clear on that, do you want to it be really loud and sound like crap, or do you wanna hit not 'AS' loud but sound real good, my choice/recommendation is the BTL

I used to run the 4 ga kicker hyper flex stuff. For bending purposes it was amazing! I deffinately like the kicker wire though.
