    the reason tha T800.2 is 48% eff is because its a 2 channel amp.monoblocks are alot more eff.also,the lower eff means more of a strain on the bat/alt.more wasted power. it just takes more power to produce more power.

    hmm..i've been doing this for about 16 years and i have never seen kicker or mtx 500 watts underrated.maybe some of kickers older stuff.but thats just me.

    so is alpine,kicker,mtx ect...but they are not underrated,not as much as RF anyway.

    not sure what color.they are all different.but usually,they are similar in color.one has a stripe on it and the other one does not.

    also,if that does not work,try to tie your remote wire from the amp to something that is powered by the ignition switch.
