ok, so.. i was thinking the same thing.. would rattle WAY too much.. and already with my subs facing into the cabin the trunk has annoying rattle.. It might just be best to go with the 15" even tho I would love the 18... maybe i'll get the 18 and build a temp. box for my room and "break it in" in my room till summertime when i can really work on the car and get it to fit in there

well.. i'm really wanting to get the 18" now.. so once I measure my trunk, i'll have to see if i could fit it in there with the right airspace... and if i could actually angle it into the cabin.. once i get trunk dimensions... (tuesday) i'll see what we can do..

I dont know.. thats my only concern really.. will it still sound good facing up? I mean.. i have a few box ideas... but i need to measure the trunk again.. i gonna need some serious dynomat... cuz my trunk will prolly fall apart... SERIOUSLY... I wish i had a SUV or Truck.. lol I might even knock out the rear seats to build a box partially into the cabin.. but i dont know.. I'll get some measurements before i purchase either one. 15" is low as i'm going.. if the 18 will work, i'll do it!

Which Fi BL Subwoofer should I upgrade to?? I have this setup right now... Let me say that.. if I get the 18" i would HAVE to angle it UP.. cuz it would fit angled into the cabin.. the 15" I could face it into the cabin, but it would have to be at a slight angle.

yea.. i guess once you go big, you prolly wont want to go smaller.. thats like steve changing his out for 4 - 10s.... lol Just isnt something to do.. lol.. yea, i think if i ever upgrade.. it will be to add another 18" lol. I have a question.. even at low watts, will the sub still push out some bass.. like.. 15" with 500watts & 18" with 500watts ....same sub, will they push same amount? which will put out more bass?

thats true, but that could take a while.. it would be when i finally sell my Type R's, then i'll deposit that money into the other account which is linked to paypal so i can buy a new amp and wiring, and so it would be a while.. idk, i dont have my box design and everything thought out yet. no rush really..

well, i dont think it will be too small.. the box is going to be pretty wide, just as wide as my first box, i'm afraid i might have too much space.. I will get some car trunk dimensions soon and ya'll can help me figure it out with this box... find out if the design will work..

yea, it is connected to my bank.. but i opened another checking/savings account to use JUST for my paypal account, cuz i ebayed and didnt want to get jacked... it was just a precaution i took.. so it is connected but to an account that have 0$ lol.. And i dont ever add money to it, i'm just gonna wait bro.. lol.. or like i said, take only $1 donations.. lol i dont feel right having money given to me. Chris, just TOO nice a guy man!! i dont know a whole lot about the specks of tuning boxes, but, check with SSD 18 specks and see what cubes they recommend and try to aim around there. Facing rear is nice way to go, Facing up would also be nice, either way will work really. you can try it out both ways if your able to rotate the box when its in the trunk..
