  1. Here boss I found this maybe this will help you...I hope so I know you are pulling your hair out...Please let me know how it goes.. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=907985 Your Welcome...Ha Ha
  2. 07 mazda is that why is that port flared at the end?? Does that make a difference?? I was just gonna make mine straight. If It makes a difference I will flare the end of my box..
  3. I'm going to Home Depot Right now what Do i need to buy to do the inside of my box?? Serious like right now...Someone that knows respond soon...I ain't trying to break the bank either..
  4. Man an impact wrench probably won't work on that Hub Nut...The best thing is to get a 1/2 inch Socket to fit the Nut. Then take a pipe about 2-3 foot long and put over the socket wrench, if it is not a cheap made socket wrench..They make a solid bar 1/2 inch, but it won't ratchet. It is just a bar with a male socket connecter on it...I'll try and find you a pick...I tried using a 1/2 inch impact wrench and it didn't budge mine..Spray it with some lube, put car in 1st gear, Get your pipe, put it over your socket wrench and turn that baby...Also you have to somehow get that screwdriver piece you have wedged into the notch of the nut out or at least pry it enough to free it from hitting the screwdriver piece. Because it may act like a Key (A piece of metal that is put into a grove in a piece of metal to keep a nut from backing out or loosening). The solid bar is called a 1/2 inch breaker bar...Look it up on the net...
  5. If I was to use quarter round in the corners would that affect the box volume enough for me to hear a difference?? Quarter round in the corner and mat over the top of it to smooth it out...Will that work?
  6. Ok I got ya...Thank u...
  7. Well look guys..I am building this box tommorow...I want to round the corners in the box...Instead of the corners being sharp maybe round them out so the air will flow a little better...Ok I am confused on the difference between Mat and Cloth...Where I am I can get the Fiberglass that looks like stringy fiberglass looks raw...But it is in a flat sheet...Then I could also get the fiberglass that looks like it is woven..Which would be best to pick up in the morning the raw fiberglass or the woven cloth looking fiberglass...
  8. Whatever you do just take your time doing it..Don't want to mess up a hub...Get you some of that Pb penetrating spray too..It works well...Where are you located at??
  9. I don't know if walmart will have one...Don't remember seeing one...Autozone will though...Do you have an autozone by you anywhere?? And yea ChevyBoy that is the stuff...I call it PB Knock er Loose...Cause I have and old can of it and in all that writing on the can it says that somewhere...PB Knock er loose...That is hands down the best....
  10. Mtxcivic07 have you used subwoofertools.com...I don't know if that will help or what you guys think about it but that is what I am using to build my box... Here you go you can change the demensions at the bottom of the page....Don't know if you wanna use or not but...Here ya go anyway... http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/ported...mp;Fs=&CE=0
  11. Pb knock er loose is that what you are talkin about chevy boy??? I didn't know if you guys could get that where you are at...That is hands down the penetrating spray on the market...It stinks but it works..
  12. Thats funny about the brake cleaner... Yea..You do need an impact driver though...Just be careful not to strip them. Well the 2 screws hold your rotor on..I said that to but those 2 screws are a pain to get out..Unless you have the impact...Just work at it and let me know how everything is going...It has been at least 2 years since I have had my hubs off so I am a little rusty...
  13. Check your grounds...!! Make sure they are both grounded real good...
  14. You need an impact driver...don't strip the screws...Hold on I will show you a picture of an impact driver.... You can get an impact driver for cheap at like any auto parts store...Also you can rent one at like autozone.
  15. Also when you take the 2 Phillips head screws off sometimes the rotor dosen't want to come loose from the hub...There are two holes there..(not the ones that your Phillips Head screws came out of) The other 2...thread a bolt that will fit the threads and alternate tighting each one until the rotor free's...Alternate tighting I mean tighten one a little bit, then tighten the other a little bit...then on and on untill the rotor frees.. Wd 40, lube...Helps///try not to get on the rotor though...Wd 40 and brake pads don't mix...
  16. If you do have to punch that old one out...Use some wd40 or Knock her loose to soften and lube everything up...I have a Haynes manual and I am still looking in here...
  17. Ok you take the 2 screws out with an impact driver...One you hit with the hammer...Has a phillips head on the end of the impact driver...when you do that you can take your rotor off...The hub will still be there...There is a thin metal plate that is behind the hub and rotor assembly...It will need to come off..Now This is a pain to do...I haven't done it before...you might be able to use a center punch and punch out that old stud...Possible if you hold your mouth right. Now as far as getting the new one in you might have to remove your hub and get some one at a machine shop to press the other stud in there...You will have to try that out...Like I said...I have never taken a stud out or put one in so...I may even have one on my car that is broken...I think it is on the back wheel though...Anyway...good luck holla if I can help out..
  18. The Resin By itself will work for the Flat parts..Ok...Mat For the corners the clean looking mat not the rough strand mat right..Yea this will take awhile..If you guys have some pics post them up so I can get an idea...I have no doubt I can do it just my first time doing it....
  19. Hello guys..I tried searching but my search button doesn't work so I am just gonna ask..I have all my dimensions for my box..It will be made tommorow...Or at least the panels cut out to be made...So i need to know what do I need to buy to 45 my corners in my box and fiberglass over them...I know I will need Fiberglass Resin. Should I get the Fiberglass Mat or sheets that have the strands....??? I have been looking at some of the guys box designs..I am just worried that my sub sitting on top of my box instead of by the port will be to much weight on that panel...I can't double baffle the top of the box cause I don't have the room...I wonder would Fiberglassing and some sort of bracing be enough to support that ole BL.?? I wish my search button would work cause i seem like I am asking dumb questions but I want to do this right the first time...If you guys have some links or your search buttons work...Tell me a little something...Thank you guys for your support...Hope I can get a video of it up when i am done with everything...
  20. Silly question. What is Rage Gold and Extreme???
  21. Look I have a question for you guys. I don't have enough room to mount my speaker on the red panel where it would normally go, you know port and speaker facing back of the trunk...Ok..I am going to have to put the speaker firing up into my Rear deck of my car, in other words the speaker will have to go on the top panel and the port will be firing towards the back of the trunk...I may be confusing you guys but what I am saying is ..Will my box design work with my 15" sub mounted on top of my box instead of on the red panel...I don't see why it should not work..Correct me if I am wrong..Please...
  22. Man it is 6:30am and I gotta take my broke ass to work...Fuck that...
