No... Use manufacture's specifications as a guide. Those recommendations are straight from Jacob's mouth which if you do not know that is the owner of Sundown...so yes that is the manufacures specifications...now please shut up.... N9neMillahhh - 4 cubes will be perfect for the two 10's on a 3500Dv2 at 1 ohm; don't listen to Krakin because he obviously has no idea what he is talking about.... thank you.. someone here as been reading the forums..

You will get more bottom-end and more benefit by using a box a little larger. if you want to risk having to do a recone go ahead. the subs are rated 1750 rms so 2 will be 3500rms and im sure they can take more rms.. So if he puts them on a saz3500 amp @1 ohms 3500rms he would be good.. I know that the amp fits the RMS but in a Box double the suggested volume that would be a disaster... Sundown already said they would need a slightly bigger box than the zv3...

thats how it was with my fi q 18 @ 38hz but i tune lower now to 33hz to get a lil more lows but i lose some highs.. I play suff like that too and i would say 33 hz is good for you too.. I gonna play around with mines when it comes but im going with 2 15's in a 8 cu ft box tune between 25-35hz not sure untill i can play with the subs..

Depends on your box type and size.. The smaller thge box the more power u can add but remember this is only useful if your amp gains are correct and you know what u are doing.. But in real world you wouldn't need the extra power unless you looking for some extra dbs in SPL.. And one of those amps could power 2 Zv4 subs.
