depends on how you build it... but I would go below the seat just for efficiency... and I would try to tune it as close to the fs of that sub as possible

i was thinking about this. it would kill the mechanical noise for sure which would help honestly thats what I would do. and make the port a $" aero out the back if you can

try face down with the port to the rear man... build the box with sides so that the sub is lifted off the ground and cut areas on both side of the sub to give an escape for the "pressure"

heres the deal a cap is only good for about 1k and for short burst.... todays music/ systems/ songs require much more than just a capacitor... even a small battery like a kinetik hc600 = 100 1 farad capacitors musically....
