ok cool there should be a small molex plug that connects to the back of the unit for the two wires one being white and brown for remote out then one for foot brake yellow/black the the other wire is going to be in the main power harness parking brake yellow/blue

yes on any of the dva unit you can still use the cd player

oh this just came to mind i guess you could always check the ac voltage coming out of the speaker outputs and then convert it using ohms law at a decent volume level but then again maybe not
