  11. Na I don't think so. If 2 15s can pulloff 160+. I surely believe 2 18s can accomplish that.
  12. Did I read that rite, you are running the new RSDc competion subs. If so what size and how good do they sound? I have been wanting to hear about them.
  13. Go with the RSD series for $10 to $15 more. They are alot better quality.
  14. I can't afford exactly what I want right now so I'm going to try the Phoenix Gold RSD components. You can find them on ebay for around $100 shipped and I have heard some really good things about them for the price. Car audio and electronics did a review on them and they seemed impressed.(for the money) So I'm going to go that route until I can afford to get what I want.
  15. Would it be anymore cost effective to offer a second version of the SAZ-3000D to be .5 ohm stable so you could strap them at 1 ohm to get the 6,000 watts someone might need? You could call it the SAZ-3000D.5 Could it fit in the same chasis/heatsink? How many changes would need to be made to accomplish that with the already existing SAZ-3000D? I would guess you might sell more of those than building a vary large amp right off the bat. and I don't want anyone coming back saying I run mine at .5 ohm all the time becuase I'm talking about one that was intended to be used officially at .5 ohms per amp and strapped at 1 ohm. any thoughts or facts?
  16. I'm to nice of a guy to really talk shit to anyone unless i'm pissed. I just thought it was funny that you were told not to do it over and over and you went ahead and tried rite off the bat after the install. I only posted that cuase someone posted on this one after you had already started the other thread. I am glad your amp came back around and it sounds like you are being alittle more gentle to it. Do you happen to know what the probblem was?
  17. www.termpro.com The DB drag official site.
  18. I feel its really more about the behind the scenes stuff over anything else.
  19. I guess you could say it revolves around a hobbie. The main goal is to see who can be the loudest but there is really alot of work involved. Lots of testing and testing and changing things more testing and comming up with new ideas. Some of the people I used to work with we would install all day then they would stay at the shop till the early hours of the mornning testing and trying new ideas all season long. Its like anyother hobby its something we enjoy and we love doing it. Becuase of that we get acouple of bonuses like getting to compete in competition with others and becuase of the extreme nature of it, DB drag has forced the manufactures to desighn new technology witch is a big deal. Look at the Kicker Warhorse an amp that stays above 90% efficient or the the RF T15,000 watter that only consumes 350 amps of current while playing music. People say its not possible. DB drag helped in one way or another to push these engineers to design these type of products witch inturn latter will filter down to the consumer level one day. This is just an example of what its all about. If you only knew the dedication that these competitors have for this you would be amazed. The only way you will really know what its all about is to go hang out in a shop with these guys night after night and watch them tare thier vehicles down and rebuild and then to it again after the next comp. I'am going to stop there becuase I could type all night on what its all about. This is just the start....
