I was able to find some HX2 recones but not HE2 anyone know of a place where I can get a good recone kit for a fair price (under $100) also I live in eastern Canada so shipping has to be factored in as well as border fees etc

I am not the one to right a review. But since I purchased a 320 Amp Alternator for the Jeep Commander here are the lows and highs of it on system. Low idle charging on meters-14.3 volts High dle charging on meter-14.9 volts. These are a beast and has taken care of the charger being put on everyday. Buy Mechman!!!!!!!!

Alright guys I have an issue, I'm just not sure exactly where or what. Ill try to include as many details as possible. My current set up: 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with "premium" speakers and amp. Details on that here Pioneer AVH-5500BHS bypassed Rockford Fosgate T1500.1BD 1 15" Fi BL @ 1Ohm 4GA power wire So to my issue. I've had this amp for about a year and a half now. About 6 months ago i noticed that occasionally I would hear a very high pitched humming and my amp wouldn't come on. This always happened when I started my car, i assumed that it was because the inside of my Jeep was hot so it went into protective mode. Yesterday it happened again, drove it home, left about an hour later (parked in shade) and it came right back on. This morning I was driving to work and it was working fine and suddenly my amp died. Got to work and checked the fuse, it was blown. I've never blown a fuse until today. Thought it was a fluke and put another in at lunch, it was hot inside my Jeep again (all black is HELL) and it did the humming so let it sit. about 30 mins later it came on when i stared my Jeep. Started to listen to a song and the moment I turned it up I blew another damn fuse! 2 in one day, what the hell! I come home disconnect my amp, check all of my wiring which i believe is good. Reconnect all of it, I have the power light come on the amp.... but no bass. Turn it off and restart my Jeep, and i get the humming, amp isn't on. I learned that the humming is coming from the 2 front speakers on the dash not the amp. Took out the fuse and put it back in, I went to check the power (not running but just power) and i have the light but once again no bass so i turn the Jeep on and now I'm here. Amp not working and humming constantly coming front 2 dash speakers. Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be? Bad wiring somewhere? Faulty factory amp interfering? Bad RF amp? I'm at a loss any help will be greatly appreciated.

First off, im new to the forum so be gentle lol. I picked me up a RF P2D4 12" woofer and a RF R500X1D Prime amp to run at 2 ohms. The spec sheet for the woofer says to have a ported box at a max of 1.7cu/ft, I was gonna build one at ~1.5cu/ft bc of space. My question is how do i tune a box? Ik that it has something to do with the port size but thats about it. What would be the best frequency to tune it to? I tend to listen to Rap and some Electro house or trap music so I like my bass a little deeper but i also want it loud but not a pile of shit SQ wise (Everyones dream right?). I heard that 32hz would be good? I would like a slot port BTW. Any help would be amazing, I have a bunch of specs below that might help. Sub: RF P2D4 12 Amp: RF R500X1D Box dimensions (not final yet) it is not a square box either. it has an angled back. H: 15 W: 20 Depth 1: 5 Depth 2: 13 Other misc. speaker info rms: 400 max: 800 Fs: 27.2 Re: 6.4 Le: 5.5 Qms: 6.3 Qes: 0.59 Qts: 0.54 Vas (liters): 81.5 Sd (cm^2): 570 Xmax (mm):13.3 SPL (DB @ 1w/1m): 86 Woofer displacement: 0.17 Cu. ft
