Ford302Redneck
Just cause it has two inputs doesn't mean its two amps.. Yes, each sub parallel is to .5ohms. Then parallel that and its at .25ohms.
David711
The d5000 are stable at 1ohm by orion but you can play then at .5 without worrying as long as you don't have low voltage. The amp is not 2 amps strapped though. Mine have ran .5 with no problem at all Quote "WHOEVER SAID MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS MUST OF BEEN BROKE"

Ford302Redneck
He has it wired to .25ohms though. As I assume, the output terminals are internally bridged like most are.
chubalicious
dont worry bro i did the same thing running my subs at .25 ohms. My system slammed but my amp kept cutting out. dc audio sent me a wiring diagram for running dual 1 ohm subs at a safe 1 ohm load
mxman38
yeah, i going to wire them at 1 ohm tomorrow and see if its a significant difference in output... but if it is ill just go back to .25... Its worked strong so far... ill just have to watch my voltage.
