fecupe2001 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 Hey guys, i´m uploading a video on my channel about a test i did last weekend on a friend´s shop, we used his Termlab with the 2010 software and his AC-190, he recently got this sensor for his old Audiocontrol, he had to send it to the US so they upgraded it or something like that to have a very accurate scores with this sensor, A LOT of people says AC scores 1.5 dbs more, other people says it´s the same, i´m one of the guys saying TL it´s the best sensor out there and the AC scores more than a full DB above, can you take a guess???? fecupe2001 Posted February 7, 2011 Author Report Posted February 7, 2011 I tested the AC mic before and that thing sucked ass hahaha, something like 9 dbs more than the termlab, they calibrated the mic and it was 4 dbs difference, on this test, i did as much as i could, a few different frequencies, music scores, i even tried with both sensors on the windshield and then a single sensor on the windshield test, first the AC and then the TL, ok, let´s wait for a couple of other people taking a guess and i´ll post the vid, it should be fun I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. That was the AC sensor or mic??? I know bro, where have YOU been? Ha ha. That was with the mic, it makes sense because now I know how these people are hitting "160" decibels, LOL!
