About the headliner.... What if you just glued a black cloth over it using spray adhesive like you're carpeting a box

I should have just ripped the headliner out before I started building. then go ahead and put a couple layers of mat on there so I wont flex as much.

Well my wife went out and bought another 2 cans of primer, it was all they had, and I dusted those on another 7 or 8 pieces. I followed roscoes advise and used a sealer primer before painting. So far the pieces have 3 coats of black on them and I will probably do one more tommorow. I will get some pics up in few.

Now I have a question about clearing the pieces. I bought a can of clear and sprayed 3 coats on one piece but it is not hard. I ran my finger nail down it and it left a slight groove. What kind of canned clear coat can I get basically anywhere that will leave a hard crust on the pieces that is resitant to scratches? Any advise will greatly be appreciated.

I am off to take some pics of my progress so far.

These pics are of the piece that I cleared. I was trying to go for a mirror finish but I guess I did not spend enough time in the early stages to achieve that.
