T_Clark Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 I got a kinetik 600 battery and I took it out of my truck about 3 months ago and it was reading 600 amps, it hasnt been messed with, used, etc... and now its reading 200 amps. Does it just need a good charging or have I got my self a $200 paper weight? Thanks!!!
DannyV18 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Batteries lose charge if they sit for a long period of time. Charge it up and it should be good to go.
THEKINGsBACK Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 make sure you use a trickle charge on it... its been sitting for a while.. slower charge is better in this instance he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
