fr34kout Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Sides, front is 35% back is 5% over 20% Back, 15% over 20% 5% doesn't make it pitch black like you were probably expecting. During the day, I can't see in my back side windows, but the back glass (15% over 20%) I can see through to the windshield. If I look really hard I can see kind of the outline of my sub and amps, but if I look straight forward towards the windshield I can see the front 2 headrests, steering wheel, dash, etc. At night, I can see OUT the back glass pretty good as long as there is light outside (street lights, other cars), the sides on the other hand I can barely see out of unless there is a good amount of light around. You probably did get 5%, maybe 10 but I highly doubt it was 20. Take it back and ask them to see the light reading. If you got 5%, reading would probably show 3-4% Edit: In the 2nd pic, if you look inbetween the Ascendant Audio and Hawaii Car Audio sticker, you can kind of see what I was talking about with being able to see in while looking towards the front of the car. Less obvious since it's a picture, but you kind of get the point.
Chaise Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 I have 10% all around (besides windshield) and on a sunny day I can just barely make out some shapes inside the car (unless the dome lights are on). It sounds like they might have lied to you. And 335 bucks? I think you need to find a better place to get your tint done once you go get a refund. I got my front windows done for 50 bucks. I like the oldschool one.. Current System: Stock 2011 Tahoe Loud as F**K Just kidding
