skittlesRgood
lol it doesnt matter where you get the tone from. use the dbdrag cd since you have it already. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. That1Kid
Just throwing his out there in case you might want different tones. You can download "audacity" and use it to generate tones. -98' Ford Expedition (Rest in Peace) -AVH-P3300BT -Crescendo BC5500 -4 18" DC m2 Level 3. skittlesRgood
I'm asking because tones are "@" different dbs. Thought it made a difference but I guess not. Db drag cd it is then. well you could tune with a -3 to -6db tone and that will work well for music but if you burp with the drag cd you use a 0db tone so you may be asking for trouble or it could be the perfect amount of clipping to gain a couple tenths without damaging the subs. all depends on your skill level. Yup this, for me, I would set your soft clip at your peak freq, I do the bulk of my testing around my peak freq I play the loudest at, that is what is important for numbers. I also generally have the termlab running real time while I set gain, but will do it at different levels of volume to see if that helps on deck preout levels, better to clip the amp then the deck has been my experience.
