Cashdollar2009 Posted February 13, 2011 Report Share Posted February 13, 2011 I've ran the BXi-608?, BXi1210d, 1610d, and 2010d. All of the knobs were remote gains. I just turned the knob to "max," set my gains, then turned it down to "min." And in every single case, "min" represented the gain at it's minimum, and "max" allowed me to turn the gain up to its maximum setting when I adjusted it. Try it with yours. Set the gain with the knob the entire way up. Then while playing, unplug the knob from the amp. There should be NO difference from playing with the knob up and with the knob unplugged. My guess is that this is just another Maxxasonics selling point. lol "Boost" is related to bass boost, which we don't like.
