I try many thing but it don't work . I have 2 sub at 1 ohm . I have a pionner deh-p4200 HU . Can you help me with all that please... Rebel4055 Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Set the HU to listening level, gain the amp. Don't go above the listening level when you gain it to that. Also you can't max out the volume on your HU or your just going to clip the output of the HU. Rest In Peace mother. zayres29 Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 just because a HU goes up to vol 100 doesnt mean its built to actually play at that volume most HU's cant be turned up past 75% before they clip there is nothing you can do to change that besides dont turn it up past the clipping point Btw that was the first person. Well lets say you have bass boost and the EQ set on the HU, it could clip at lower volumes. I have my HU eq at flat and I'm doing fine 45 out of 62? I think it is. That HU has 4v pre-out, it should be putting out plenty at 40 volume,why is your gains half way? Hell with my pioneer 5100DVD unit I can set it to 25 volume and be set. Rest In Peace mother.
