Building my 2nd box ever, simple question

Your box looks good, nice job. resin will not stick to silicone at all, it will soak in and bond to mdf very well though you dont need to sand it so fine, but should be alright.I owen a fiber glass shop we sand every thing else with 80 to 24 grit, but on mdf the resin will soak in just keep that in mind

But the resin will seal everythin up right? When i put the resin in, do i sand it after or just let it be? I havent worked with it much at all so its going to be a learning experiment

Your seams look good so it should seal it fine, they make a lot of fillers you can add to resin to thicken it you could make a thicker putty and fill the coners and shape them.

Are you talking about something like the resin with fiberglass strands in it all ready(hair resin i think its called) or maybe even like fiberglass bondo stuff? I have both. The bondo is thicker but idk how it works with the mdf. Ill test it to see how it will work

And once everything cures, do i sand the resin or leave it like it is??? I am going to put one more coat of mat and resin on it and i k ow i have to sand between coats but do i sand the final coat of resin? ok so here are the pictures, a few from yesterday but most was from the fiberglassing i did today outside becuase it was gorgeous out here today! and keep in mind this is the first time ive done fiberglass, just watched steves videos and many others.. and i could really use some advice from others too..i put two coats of resin in the whole box except only one in the port which i will be doing another one when i to the top of the box when i put it together.. i used one layer of mat on the back and then when that dried i sanded it a little bit and then used a layer of fiberglass cloth...i liked the cloth better, it was easier to work with..i just used all generic, bondo brand, stuff from home depot and lowes..all in all i think i did ok..the inside is really smooth, now to i leave it like that or do i sand it with very fine paper(400 grit)? On the back wall with the 45s and the triangle thing im going to use bondo to round it a little and smooth it out where i used the cloth but what about the rest of the box?? do i skim coat the whole thing with bondo, fine sand and then paint or what?? i need a little help on where to go from here..

and how the hell do i get this shit off my arms??? lol i have acetone, will that work?
