If its 100 at 4ohms ill go with the sundown if it realy does have a good crossover feature

Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that :( any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van.

i voted for sundown just because you said you didnt want to over power and fry your speakers but i like the bang for your buck DC, just set your gains properly..i know this was condescending..sorry..lol..either amp is sick

I went ahead and went for the DC 175.4, I figured I got a scope so I can set it without cooking them..plus I read around and it seems like those hertz can take some power...

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
