T3 or Fi?

is the cooling on the T.1000 as good as the BL?

one major difference between Fi and everyone is that Fi makes their subs in house in the US. its not chinese parts pieced together. does that matter? thats up to you.

all T3 subs are engineered with proprietary parts. Some are Chinese sourced, some are USA sourced. The only parts common to ANY other subwoofer would be baskets, and we own our tools. The T.1000 and up are all handmade in the USA now.

now after looking over the T.1000 I say get the BL for sure. 3" coil > 2.5" coil.

plus, BL stands for Buz lightyear, whats cooler than that?

you lost me, some parts are chinese sourced but its made in the USA? did you just mean the lower models? so you guys wind coils, machine parts, magnetize motors, etc?

just because tone doesnt come across the internet, I am actually curious about this stuff. not trying to call anyone out or anything of that sort.

i dont think that a larger coil is always better. for example, i dont like 4" coils.

motors are CURRENTLY Chinese sourced. Coils come from Florida. We build the woofers in Georgia. Some of the parts come from China, some from the USA. in the very near future ALL parts will come from the USA. The new product (2010) has all been re-engineered and all parts are our own...nobody else uses our parts. They were designed here, and tooled for us exclusively. The only parts other companies use is the baskets...and we own the tools for the baskets (this has been argued at length before so I'm not getting into it...but we do own the tools for the baskets)

T3 is an American Company that supports other American companies. the transition is slow, but it is happening. All T3 subs will be made in the USA of USA parts in the very near future.

BTW, did we meet at finals in Laughlin? i was with PB then
