thegr8cody
i've had my btl 18 in a box about 7.5 cubes 100 square inches of port and it took a pa3000db and wanted more,so my question is in between a 5 - 6 cubic foot encoseure, with bout 70 " of port you think it would handle 2500+ the amp im looking at does 3200 and im sure its over rated a little so it'd be about 2700-3000 Quote 1998 gmc sierra h/u:eclipse cd3200 sub:dd9518g d1.5 amp:jl e300/4 sub amp:dd m2a front stage:id ctx65cs dc power 270 alt lots of kicker 1/
AI James
what amp are you looking at and whats your VC configuration either way that wattage would be fine as long as you are conservative
tejcurrent
Shouldn't have any problems as long as you set your filters right and have a good charging system. Quote tejcurrent XS Power T3
thegr8cody
mmatsd3500 and there its a dual 2 so its a 1 ohm load maybe a lil over with rise,im not to heavy on the knob and i never drive more than 45 minutes but i ver seldom go to alabama, so it should be good i guess Quote 1998 gmc sierra h/u:eclipse cd3200 sub:dd9518g d1.5 amp:jl e300/4 sub amp:dd m2a front stage:id ctx65cs dc power 270 alt lots of kicker 1/

thegr8cody
is there a rule of thumb i should follow i got 1/0 guage and 300 amp fuse, and say the amp has 200 amp fusing, cant find the exact fusing on the 3500,i know keep it as close to your amps fusing as you can but as far as the fusing on your amps and wiring,is there anyway to use that to figure out your alternator and batter quanity?
