J Black, not gonna have everything done in time. Heck that is this weekend. Tonight I thought. Still waiting to get it all in the car still a couple of weeks out yet. But I am getting closer. I will let you know when I get it done, cause I will make a ride up to see ya.

Well I am taking bets from everyone to see if my amp will let out Magic Smoke or will it ride at this ohm load. You guys can comment and put in your input. I am gonna say it will hold up. I played around tonight and cut the wire that connects the coils. I am gonna have to go and buy some sort of connectors to connect the subs cause the holes in the sub connectors are tight. I just want to make them nice and clean looking. Here are the pics.

Here is what it reads when I measure the 2 subs wired up parallel.

P.S. That small wire won't be in the box. Gonna use the 8 guage for the connector piece just didn't want to cut untill I can get some connectors.

2 bolts..I never would have thought of that. What do I do just Drill a hole in the box insert 2 bolts, put ring terminals on the inside wires and attach them to the bolts? Ring terminal the wires coming from my amp to the bolts where they stick through on the outside of the box. Any certain kind or grade of bolt? Any certain metal?

brass/copper or i used just a grade 5 zinc. depends if you want to make it so that you can disconnect it easily (which i dont think youll need to). put the bolt through either way, put your ring terminals on, but make sure the only thing touching the box is a washer. it has to lay flat on the box to seal up the hole. if you need, i can explain the order with the terminal, washer, nut.....but im sure you can figure it out ;)

you typically use a little bit more wire this way, but it works.
