That1Kid
Really? You would probably be better off buying a matching sub and just using 2. TIG
Yeah this is crazy. Mixing subs is never a good idea. Different ohms is a sure fire way of causing your amp problems. Get you a nice ported box and a matching sub to one of your 4ohm subs and call it a day. Quote Since were all having a moment of truth. I hate country too.. TIG
All Im sayin is have someone build you a nice ported box to fit all the subs in if that is what you choose to do. Most times the brand of subs dont mean shit, its the box they are in that make the difference. If your asking for advice on the best way to pair what you have I would say Pioneer 4ohm and Sony 4ohm wired to 2 ohm in the ported box and bang away. Quote Since were all having a moment of truth. WillPwn4Food
What everyone else said ^^. Mixing subs is never a good idea. Seeing as you have 4 12" subs fit in your vehicle (Or house?) I'd suggest selling them, and getting 2-3 matching 12's or (2)15's. cqtama
every single one of those subs has different specs, (dif. rms power handling, excursion, ts specs, fs) its all different so even if you matched them up to the same ohm load and the impedance was perfect something else would be off. you're going to have phasing issues and power handling issues and something is gunna give weather it be one of your subs or your amp. just trust us. you don't mix subs.
