if one look at just getting somethign in the 1k to 1200 rms range if 2 and you wanna save money still look at a used us amps MD3 (375) in classified section or a ever popular pa3000db

i have an 04 expedition and i talked to dominick irraggi and the alternators they have for my truck is a 220 or a 240 amp, the 220 puts out more at idle than the 240 does and the prices were good too. as for the dual alternator on the expedition ......... i have never seen one done before but i'm sure it's possible.

well it was almost a year ago and the 220 was around $339 and the 240 was around $359.............i think shipping wasn't included but regardless it's the best damn price i got ........... i called stinger and some other guys and they wanted anywhere from $450-$600

yeh you should be fine but if you want to double the juice you're running now i'd upgrade though.
