Just a recone.

You can make a box that gives you plenty impedance rise, but the nominal impedance wouldn't change.

How are you able to know if you box will have alot of rise or not? I know that testing will tell for sure but is say a big box gonna have high rise or vise versa?

boxes increase impedance at resonant frequency due to the air and sub fighting each other...that's the simplest way I can put it

And how do you know what the resonance Frequency is? What the box is tuned to? Im just curious because im building my box and fiberglassed the inside so its sealed amd smooth as hell and also braced it real nice and all that, does that prevent box rise or not affect it really?
