Dmm is the Digital Multimeter/volt meter. I'd say check both batteries just to see what each one falls to.

Alright will do! I think I might have one. Not sure..what setting do I set it to??

Set it to DC and make sure you're reading over 12v's

On the batt that's hooked to the alt right?

I would test each one and then test at the amp with the tests I mentioned above. Post your results here and we can get to the bottom of this.

nvm...i forgot my DMM is burnt out... all it does is make a beeeeeeep sound..haha its literally dead. so 2moro im gonna go to Lowes and get me self a new one and get to the damn bottom of this!

No not yet. I'm still in school. My bus leaves at 3:30 and I don't get home till 4;30 and once I get picked up from my bus stop I'm gonna go to lowes and buy my new DMM. Then I will post results

I had an old one that was gifted to me when I was 14 along with some other tools and it recently died on me but I managed to find a Fluke DMM when I was cleaning out my garage it was in a box I have been meaning to empty since I moved almost 4 years ago

Hey guys! Got my DMM. I was confused on which one to get so I asked the guy there and he said I can't use these to measure the voltage of the batteries. And the only way was for me to go to auto parts and for them to check it. So I was like BS! So I got one. Do u guys know if this one will work??
