I have a 2006 silverado with a 10cu ft box in the back and am going to be running 2 solo x 18s. I currently have a 150 amp alt (upgrading to 300a) and big three (1/0 gauge) and 4 batteries (cc_audio says should be good for 5krms with 150a alt). The subs are both dual 2ohm (willing to get 4ohm recones).. Just wondering if anybody had any good ideas, because I was pretty set on a Warhorse, but wasnt sure if i could get better.. 2006 Silverado Ext. Just depends what your budget is. With 4 group 31's and that alt, you can support a good bit of power. The AQ3500.1d's are on 4200 boards, which will give you a good bit more output than the Crescendos. But you can pick up a pair of Crescendos and strap them for just over a grand. Crescendo strapped: 6500wrms for $1100.00 new. AQ3500.1d strapped: 8600wrms for $1500.00 new. PM DC for pricing. I have no clue on Sundown pricing.
