I usually would think of going ported if your lacking power to get more of a boom, but since it is a new car and the system isn't much bigger I would go for sealed box, not one of those small prefab ones either but I think it would sound more punchier and stay with the music alittle more and have a"classy" sound to it almost as if it can stock like that.

haha yea 2010 altima coupe im running one treo te in the trunk with a alpine m500 it sounds good. i was actilly thinking of going bigger but just dont wont to since its a brand new car so i was thinking of just adding another te and a treo rsx1900. would both be getting over 500 watts at 1 ohm and idk weather to go with ported or sealed it will be in the trunk and usually the seat folded down.

if your seats are folded down try facing the subs foward and sealing them off from the trunk.

Do you want people to hear you coming from 5 blocks away? And what type(s) of music do you listen to?

Edit: didn't see the more recent posts when writing this. What was said about the sealed box is good. It'll give you what I think you want. And in all honesty it's not too terrible to build a sealed box.

You should also know that a box that fits the subwoofer's space requirements can make all the difference in the world. There are tons of threads and members on this forum who know a lot more about boxes than me, so search for some who can possibly help you decide which box size will work for your subs.

Then sealed is the way to go. The box will be a little bigger, but much louder. I'd recommend tuning the box to 32-34 hz. That seems to be the consensus.

lolwut? Is this dr subwoofer?

under construction

I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me.
