First off, my electrical consists of 2 runs of Knu 1/0 about 120ish feet, big 3 also in Knu 1/0, stock 136 amp alt, and 2 Stinger SP1500 batteries. When I first got this all done in October, my voltage cold was around 14.9-15.0 and drop to 14.6-14.7 warm. Now cold start is 14.3 and drops to 13.9ish it used to drop that low on full tilt like 13.7 (at 2200rpm) would be the lowest now the other day I seen 12.5, how bad is that?. I've read somewhere I should charge the batteries themselves, is this true? Do I need to unhook them and pull them out to charge? I dont have an AGM charger so will my regular charger on 2 amp work for a couple hours? With all three batteries on wired together they still rest between 12.8 or 12.9 on a multimeter. I hope too have an alt soon, but its on hold til I figure out my payments on my new truck. By the way my alternator squeals with no stereo on, on start up for about 5 seconds could that be the cause of low voltage? I've had alts go bad but it pretty much went on the spot not gradually got worse. Thanks

I don't know if this actually happens but the alt could be seizing if your certain your tension-er pulley and belt is fine.

Rest In Peace mother.

Damn I was hoping I could get away with charging the batteries lol. Should I charge my batteries individually or can I leave them connected or should the alt be suffecient enough?

haha no I probably could of saved some but its basically ran in a BIG S shape but I wanted it to stay as far away from the exhaust as possible (ran underneath truck). I bought 170' from Knu awhile back and just installed it, so I'm gonna guess 120ish I got 30+ ft still left so unless I got shorted. But thanks for the help rebel. I noticed my truck start hard today it was 5*, maybe my stingers are failing, I hope to upgrade to 5 xs 3100s this next winter and my DC Power alt. sooner than later
