lifted_silverado
It shouldnt be to big a pain. Just fab up the eyes for the leafs. Youre right the IFS in chevys is real SOB to work with. I helped do a straight axel on a friends silverado. The leaf springs make it look mean, he did 3:10 gears with detroit lockers. Wasnt fast but it would pull. Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins
David
I think once I have all the parts it will be fairly simple, just time consuming as I will be doing most of it by myself. Here is the truck, motor its burnt pretty good, hence the v8 swap. I have got it pretty much ready to yank witch will happen fri or sat after work. Red4DrPos
Wow, That looks awesome and mean with the boggers. Ive been wanting to do a SAS swap on my blazer. Just havent had the fund for it. You going to use coils or leafs for the front. Usually it depends on the application but IMO coils just look cleaner than leafs. lifted_silverado
I agree front leaf springs look badass. As far as the fabtech kits go you can always check out the parts they include and add your own twist on the fabrication end. Its gonna be a tough job for one person. GL with the build im def.
