vettetruck
Just curious as to what the noise I heard today was.. I finally built a box to spec for my 2 15's, tuned to 35Hz. Well when I was testing out the fact that low bass actually makes shit rumble in my truck I noticed a weird noise at a frequency that sounded like a jack hammer.. But then it stopped and I don't hear it anymore... Subs don't seem blown, any ideas?

vettetruck
your amp might be oscillating. is the amp used? did you short the output leads at some point while the amp was powered on? No it's new... I've never had a problem with it. Like it said, it only did it for a bit and it since has stopped. Really confused.
