hdorre Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 146.1 @ 46hz Then I found my peak was 46-47 in that area which is TOO high for what I want 145.7 on music Very nice! I kinda agree. It would be insane if that were under 40hz Impressive!! grandamhz Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 well I was gonna use these dimensions 36" wide x 16" tall x 18" deep @ 35hz
BeAlLsTaR13 Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 it'll be ok, i'd try for bigger than 4-4.5 cubes though.. if you do 35 hz tuning your port will need to be 14.5 tall, 3.5 wide, 24" long Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------

Can you give me some box dimensions that you used so I can try and attempt to build my box for my sundownz i wouldnt use this box, its too small for these woofers I thought the recommended size is 1.75 for each sub..I could be wrong though. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. There's been some testing done that shows they like bigger boxes like 4-5 cubes. I was running my 2 sa 12s in a 3 cube box and built a 4 cube box and saw a big improvement.
grandamhz Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 I just don't know what exactly I can fit and still have room for a battery and all that.
BeAlLsTaR13 Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 I just don't know what exactly I can fit and still have room for a battery and all that. it also depends on your power as well, and what battery(s) you plan on using Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
