So i hid some of my christmas money and i found it haha i had hidden it from myself :peepwall: and forgotten about it,

any way i have enough money to buy a fi bl or a q 18"

i'm looking for a daily set up. i've heard the q is only an sq sub while the bl gets louder and sound good. what i want to know is which will sound louder to the ear not a meter.

please help i'm probably going to buy today. this is going to be going in a 2002 acura mdx so an suv if that matters

EDIT all i want to know is how much louder will the Bl be over the Q and is it worth the extra money.

also someone said the bl is more punchy can any one elaborate on that.

the q can get loud pretty loud as well, but the bl has a HUGE MOTOR!! and with that 18" you're excurtingness is going to be 120% more excurt than if it was a 15. Just remember to tune to 35hz cuz thats always the best tuning, but i don't think 18's can change box size, 15's can.

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.
