P4killer_
So on the amps Ive had you had to pick either high voltage or low voltage input. or just simply plug in the rcas On the amp I have not Clarion DXP 11500 you have to pick .2-.6V or .6-2V or 2-8V now I checked my H/U manual and voltage isnt listed. Obviously I could just DMM the RCA's but that would only work at a specific freq. It says that although most H/U are in the 2-8V range (duh) but they dont always operate there so using .6-2V is reccomended. I mean I could just DMM the RCAs at 50hz ~3/4 volume like DMM the gain and set according to that reading but would that suffice? skittlesRgood
that should work... never seen an amp with that setting on it though... very strange... If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. finkster
high voltage input is for speaker wires...usually for stock stereos. low voltage is for RCAs. Unless Im not understanding. But thats interesting on the switch. DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living

But thats interesting on the switch. you're thinking of high level inputs, not high voltage, for using the signal from speakers. respectively, low level is rca's. P4killer_
yea i know the difference. I just had never encountered a switch for low level, and the obvious answer was to look at the manual and when it wasnt in there i posted here. i coulda googled it call me lazy Setup: 2010 Hyundai Elantra Factory Unit via 4 chan NVX LOC Excessive Amperage "H/O" Alt Xs D3400/ Xs XP3000 Big 3. 2 Runs of +, 2 Runs of - DD M3b and 2 12" AQ HDC4s
