I have a autotek 1000.2 on 2 memphis 10's in my truck turned all the way up and it does not impress me at all so I don't really want to go that rout, just not sure about these new amps. I dont know what is good and what isnt. http://www.audioque.com/Amplifiers_c_7.html their amps have an awesome feature where a little light on the remote bass knob blinks red if you are clipping (distorting) the amp. really gives a reassuring feeling that you know if you're clipping or not. that's pretty nice, i didn't know the Aq's had the Clipping alert, when i get a SUV and get another L7 ill look into getting one. The gain? i didn't know the Hfi's were bad at all, but then again in the caribbean we don't know many of the top of the line stuff, i must admit ive been educated alot by this forum. also yeah the gain is at about 3/4 and i haven't had any probs with it.
