XX7R Posted March 9, 2011 Report Share Posted March 9, 2011 Alright so im new to aeroports and ive just got 1 six inch aero cut to about 17 inches which for my box is 32 hz. So if i want to add another aero to get more port area do i cut it to 17 inches again to get 32 hz? Or do i have to make them both half of 17 to make it 17? OP post the specs of your box. a 6" aero 17" long is about 28 sq inches of port. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. On the precision port website calculator that a few people have posted after i fill it all out it says that the "flare length port required" is 13", is that just the tube and than you add on the flares? or is it 13" with the port flares on it? If you want a 12" port, cut it about 15" and then flare it. However if you buy em pre assembled then its taken into account. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. The box is about 4.4 cubic feet. From flare to flare my port right now is about 15" Im still a little confused about how long to make it?..
