Since the port length is longer than the box is tall i just make it angle left or right? Like an L shape? That wouldnt cause port noise or an nasty sound? Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins

Since the port length is longer than the box is tall i just make it angle left or right? Like an L shape? That wouldnt cause port noise or an nasty sound? if you got a router you can router the 4 edges around the port and make sure you put a 2" piece of mdf with 45's on the edges so it goes right in that 90 degree angel of the port, right where the port turns. this will help port noise. But to be honest I have build many boxes with an L port with no router edges and no piece of wood at the bend and didnt hear much port noise. 2-18" Fi Btls 2-RF T2500-1bd box 14cu.ft after displacement tuned @ 32hz. RAM_Designs
You'd be better off adding some bracing and using a double baffle as well with that beefy of a sub. lifted_silverado
Yea i was def. Gonna double baffle and maybe running some 1x1 for bracing from the front to rear of the box. I was also thinking about a removable port like mr. Meade's box kinda flush it into the baffle and bolt it with weather striping so i could change the tuning when wanted or needed. Any advice on that? Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year.
