Optima Yellowtop VS Kinetik 1400?

I am trying to decide, and I have read so much information going both ways. I am trying to decide on a battery to replace my stock battery under the hood.

Current electrical setup:

2003 Eclipse GTS

Big 3 in 4 awg

220 Amp HO alternator

0/1 run, power and ground

Audioque 2200d

Memphis Mojo 15 @ .5 ohm

Should I go with the Optima Yellowtop 75/25 of the Kinetik HC1400 (or possibly 1800) and why?

Price wise they are around the same. I could try to modify my battery bay to fit the 1800.

**and I have seen way too many "Throw a HC2400 in and call it a day" posts, not going to happen here. I measured the battery bay, and the 2400 is NOT an option. I am also not springing for multiple batteries yet. This is a daily driver, not a SPL beast.

if ur alt isss putting out 220a 4ga is gonna be limting that quite a bit. if you dint use a fuse of the + run to the bat, and it truely is seeing that much current = melting wire imo might wanna check that homie

I've read on multiple forums and heard from the local shop that 4 awg is plenty for my big 3. I am sure 0/1 would help the setup though. I havent had any issues with it yet, but I will keep an eye on it.

When I get some extra money I will probably upgrade to 0/1 for the big 3.

Anyone else have any opinion?

How is Kinetiks long term durability? I hear the yellow tops arent quite as nice for car audio, but they last all winter with no issues in a daily driver.

4gauge is the same size wire u replaced on the big3
