I was thinking that I would get 2 12inch Rockford Fosgate t1s, a new sub box, a Hifonics HFi1500D, and at least one new battery (i only have a stock battery now). I found the subs for about $250 each online, the amp for $180, battery for around $70(?), and I figured I can make a box for around $150. With shipping I estimate that everything will come out to be about $1000, which is my budget. I have a few questions: even though the subs are rated at 800 watts rms each is the amp powerful enough to push them at only 1500, or should I get a Hifonics HFi2000D (or different amp entirely)? Which battery should I buy, do I need two or a capacitor or a new alt? I have four gage wiring now, do I need thicker wires? Any help is greatly appreciated, and I am not committed to any of my plans yet. Thank you!!
