Supercharged DCs
Though I've never heard a AQ HDC315, I love the DD3515 series! I would recommend it to anyone, but I'm sure you can't go wrong with either selection. I will admit that the HDC315 looks better, but it's all about how it sounds to me... I'm not sure of the RE MX, simply because I've been hearing that their new chinese built stuff isn't the best. Quote Bassless once again. CaptainPooPyPantz
Don't the AQ hdc and DD35 sound the same ? . . i thought it did cuz there the same factory but the AQ has a few chinese parts but desinged by DD Quote Headunit - Pioneer AVH-P4250 DVD 4 - infinity reference 6.5 a pair of infinity reference tweeters 1 - AudioQue AQ-120.4 amplifier for mids & highs 1 - AudioQue AQ-2200D Monoblock 1 - AudioQue HDC315 KitAudio kerf ported Enclosure 4 - Stinger pro series signal wires 20ft Stinger 1/0Ga power & Ground wires Big Three Upgrade 1 - Kinetik HC1800 (Not Here yet . .Still Saving up for one)
Supercharged DCs
I've heard they offer similar performance, but the DD35 edges out in sound quality. This may not be true and they both may sound the same, I've never heard a AQ product, everyone around here rocks Kicker lol. And yes, AQ is designed by the owner of DD's son. Ohw , and what about the battery . . It does look beefy, I'll give it that. I was dead set on the RE XXX15 before I heard so many negative reviews about the newer models. Your amp pushes out 1500wrms at 1ohm, so if you don't want to upgrade your alternator I would go with the Kinetik hc1800, it has better stats than the Yellowtop. I would also recommend doing the Big 3 upgrade, and use 1/0gauge wiring for everything. Quote Bassless once again.
