Something Not Right

Where to begin iight about 2 months ago i had bought me a an alt. bumped up to 200 for my 93 cutlass ciera got it tested when i put it on, Did my big 2 just havent upgraded my power from 4 to 0, had it tested and got a 14.7 at idle.So recently i put my slam in and now i'm getting a 12.6 at idle and 14.6 revin the engine.What could be the problem could it be i have a short somewhere in my electric system somewhere.WHATS REALLY GOOD?

lol...everthing sounds fine...i think i idle at about the same voltage (even when im bumpin) and around that when i rev my engine...no worries as along as ur not dippin too much lower than the mid 12s

Well as most people would know, the most alts put out around 100a, maybe a little more or less at idle speeds and when you rev your engine up to 2k+ RPM it will start to put out its max amperage rating on the alt.
